Microsoft Intune Co-Management – SCCM Queries

Modern Management with Microsoft Intune and DeployTech

Setting up Microsoft Intune Co-Management with your legacy SCCM environment is a critical part of the journey to Modern Management.

What you will find is not all clients will successfully enroll for Co-Management.

Because I find this stuff easier to action from SCCM, I use Collections to identify problem targets for remediation.

You might find some of the queries below helpful for your Co-Management journey...

Devices Enrolled for Co-Management

select distinct SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_Client_ComanagementState on SMS_Client_ComanagementState.ResourceID = SMS_R_System.ResourceId where SMS_Client_ComanagementState.MDMEnrolled = 1

Devices NOT Enrolled for Co-Management

select distinct SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_Client_ComanagementState on SMS_Client_ComanagementState.ResourceID = SMS_R_System.ResourceId where SMS_Client_ComanagementState.MDMEnrolled = 0

As sort of an aside, make sure your Azure Active Directory Tenant ID is correct.

I have seen client machines picking up previous implementations of AAD, and the clients have been a bit screwy.
